Green Deer is Red Deer’s annual city-wide spring cleanup. In 2019, Green Deer runs from April 15 to June 9. During this time, residents of all ages, abilities, and economic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to pick up litter around the city. It’s a great way to have a positive environmental impact, make new friends, and strengthen community bonds.
People are encouraged to register so Green Deer organizers can distribute cleaning supplies, track the areas that have been cleaned, and recognize volunteer work.

• In person on Monday, May 13 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. during our Registration BBQ at Parkland Mall in the GoodLife parking lot.
• In person at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre, Recreation Centre, Collicutt Centre, G.H. Dawe Centre any time from April 15 through June 9.
• Phone the Kerry Wood Nature Centre at 403-346-2010 and one of our friendly staff will walk you through the online registration form.
