Hi, my name is Jon. I’m the host of "The Morning Show with Jon Ramer" on Shine FM.

I knew at an early age I wanted to be in radio and would even practice on one of my parents' old cassette tape recorders. I’ve been blessed to do what I love for many years and I’m so thankful you have chosen to spend your time with me, listening to Shine.

My wife Michele and I, like most people, we love spending time in the mountains and God’s beautiful creation. If you were to talk to my wife you would probably learn that I love hats, plaid shirts, flashlights and animals more than a man should, but I’m unashamed. We have a beautiful daughter, her name is Alicia and she lives in Ontario with her husband Cheyenne and they have a puppy named Hank, who we all love!

Over my career, I’ve had the privilege to live in a few different states as well as provinces and no matter where God has placed me, I know that music is one thing that can truly tie people together.
