What’s For Dinner Wednesday

~Recipe of the week~

 

 

Hamburger Soup

1 1/2 lbs of Hamburger

4-6 mashed Tomatoes

4 grated carrots

1 Tblsp Parsley

2 cups water

1/2 cup of barley or noodles of your choice*

1 chopped medium onion

3 cans of Beef consume soup

3 chopped celery stalks

2 bay leaves

1 can of tomato soup

salt and pepper
to taste

 

Brown meat & onions with salt & pepper. Combine all
other ingredients in a large pot, cover and simmer  about 2 hours. Stir occasionally.

* if you add noodles, add them an hour before soup is done.
This can be frozen too.

This is my moms (Ronnie Gough ) recipe. Really
easy to make and it is a great supper served with fresh buns
